The first time I drew Barney for this project, the animation series Simon's Cat on YouTube came back to my mind. Since I loved the videos as a child and the cat has a similar personality as Barney I chose a simple artstyle as a little tribute.

For the story I brainstormed what Barney could do in this scenario to get the sausage. I've decided to let him behave a bit more human but keep his physical boundries as a dog for a comedic and entertaining experience. The result keeps you wondering what he will try next and sometimes it's not what you would expect.
