Hey! We are KK Games and this is our first project together!
For this project my fellow student and I "founded" KK Games. This app became not just a game but a corporate identity (it escalated a bit). The task was to create a mobile game of any kind and finish it until we have a functional prototype on Adobe XD. Because the class was called "Interface- and Interaction Design" the focus of our project had to be on UX and UI. The division of labor was very even. Both of us drew the visuals, designed the interfaces and planned everything. She made our app functional in Adobe XD and I did a few more buttons and interfaces just as the core journal.

Framework of this project:
1. The app should be used in 9x16.
2. There have to be lots of interfaces.

SETTING
In the beginning we already were on the same page and wanted to create a cute cozy game just like Animal Crossing. After some brainstorming we came up with the idea of a cute little dog that has its own detective angency and searchs for lost items. All residents of the small charming town are animals. Overall the vibe is very friendly and wholeome.
THE GAME
Nozy is a cozy game to pass some time. You can explore the town and speak with the people to get quests. Every day there is also the option to receive a daily client in your agency. There is also a little storyline in the background but all in all the game should feel timeless. To move around, there are three to four backgrounds for every area, that you can skip through. In the screens are people, doors and passages to interact with. If you have issues to find an item, you can use your nose to sniff for it. If you use a sniff, you get some hints for your active quest.
CHARACTERS


Sonny is our maincharacter (in the beginning you can give her any name you want). She owns the little detective agency at the corner of the town hall. There is no item, she can't find with her perception.

INTERFACE
The Journal is your best friend - everything you need is in there. After we had a presentation about diagetic interfaces, we became so much in love with this topic, we've decided to put most of the games interfaces into a diegetic journal. It is always on the bottom of your screen, ready to get opened. With the bookmarks you can easily switch between map, questlog, settings and inventory. But everything in is drawn or glued onto its pages.
BACKGROUNDS
We planned the backgrounds in sections, because you move through different pictures of an area. We separated a panorama with guide lines before we started drawing so that nothing important gets between the screens. Also we let enough space on the bottom for Sonny's journal.
